This is a special fanart for one of the most amazing fanfiction stories I have ever read: The GF Mage written by Tsubasa Kya! I fell in love with it that I went even go far to ask the author, Tsubasa Kya, to let me to draw a fanart for her story! And I got her perimission! Yay! It's Final Fantasy 8-InuYasha crossover and it began with Kagome's childhood, if you're curious.

Originally, I was going to draw the younger, uglier Kagome (though I couldn't help but thinking she's still cute anyway, because of her cute, hot tempered personality) but I found I couldn't draw her at that age at all. It made me feel a bit disappointed but I decided to draw her at the age when she's no longer an ugly duckling. I'm quite happy with the outcome.

Now, I can only hope that miss Tsubasa Kya would like as well.

She had mentioned that if I were to draw Kagome at the older age, I would to draw Kagome's outfit to be... outworldy... Well, this is as much outworldly I could get.

In my opinion of this Kagome (in this picture, not in the story), she would go fighter (like without using the weapon, using only her bare hands, quite like FF7 Tifa. Hey, if she can give someone a bloody nose or a black eye, why not?) because she couldn't use sword (many reasons) and she would probably refuses to use staff and rod (though her magic is quite good, people had been restaining her power too much to be any use but that's just me. I was thinking what would happen but it probably wouldn't happen in the story anyway. So she decided to not use the magic after all) since it's pointless to use them at all.

She would have good enough health point but low magic point because of her restains. Kagome would have high attack power but fairly low defensive point (because she's a fighter but give her good enough armor, she'll be fine). She wouldn't use magic at all, just a little (like... if she were to attack/press an enemy's pressure point, she's add a little magic to make it hurt. A trick, I thought it'd might be cool, she'd might pick up, if she were a fighter.)

I have some more ideas but I don't wanna to piss off an wonderful author like Tsubasa Kya for throwing in too much of my opinions. >.>; Sorry, miss amazing Tsubasa Kya! (See how much of an idealist I can be?)

I might draw more (I do want to draw more for that awesome story!) but we'll see what's happen.

I sincerely hope Tsubasa Kya would love (or at least like) my work! -^.^- If not, I can always draw another one!

Anyway, please read her works and REVIEWS! She need more REVIEWS! Tsubasa Kya DESERVE it!
